The Best RSS Readers on the Web

By Wendy Boswell, About.com

What are RSS readers? Basically, it's a way to clump all your RSS feeds from various websites into one handy dandy little interface. Here are my picks for the top three RSS, or feed, readers on the Web:
  • Bloglines: Hands down, in my personal opinion the best feed reader out there. Great organization, super fast, and hardly ever in for maintenance.
  • Newsgator: I've heard a lot of good things about NewsGator; probably my favorite thing about it is that my feeds can be delivered right to Outlook in a completely organized fashion.
  • Firefox Live Bookmarks: If you're a Firefox user, then you have Live Bookmarks. No need to surf to a specific site to view your RSS feeds; you can view them within your browser window.
