SEO Maintenance

By Wendy Boswell, About.com

It's not enough to submit your pages and ride off into the sunset. In order to get and keep good rankings, you must pay attention to how your site is doing and adjust accordingly. A few things to remember:
  • Check on your pages regularly and ensure they got listed.
  • Monitor your listing every week or two to make sure your pages are displaying correctly.
  • Watch for trouble, and resubmit your site if you spot it. Don't wait until a molehill turns into a mountain.
  • Resubmit your site any time you make significant changes.
